My Story

Hi, I’m Jen. After years spent raising my two boys and working as a registered nurse, I found myself at a turning point — rediscovering long-held passions for travel, food, and meaningful connection. With my children grown and a new season beginning, I felt called to explore the world and give back in a deeper way.

That call led me to Italy. While volunteering alongside local residents, I formed close connections with artisans and small business owners who poured their hearts into their work. I began bringing home simple treasures from my travels — olive oil, sea salt, jam — as a way to share the flavors and stories of the places that had welcomed me so warmly. Before long, friends and family were asking for more olive oil than I could carry home.

Quen, which is my nickname, was born from that spirit. From my journey to your table, I hope to share not only exceptional olive oil, but the sense of warmth, care, and community that inspired it.

In gratitude for the place that changed everything, Quen donated 10% of 2025 sales to support Global Volunteers and their work in Castelvetrano, Sicily — and will continue to give annually. What began as service became family, and this gift is offered with deep thanks, for I received far more than I ever gave.

Giving back is part of how Quen shows gratitude for the community that made this possible.
